PROJECT TITLE
Food linked to Family History
RESEARCH QUESTION
Does food have potential as a cross-generational linking device within families?
PROBLEM / STARTING POINT
My mother beholds a cookbook that incorporates at least three generations of recipes (starts about 1920). She neatly tipped those on square paper and collected them in a catalogue (Fig. 1-3). By the time it became stained and started to fall apart. Nevertheless, it is incredibly valuable to me. In case of disintegration, not only those recipes would vanish; an irreplacable section of family history would be lost for good.
